At the Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes come in many flavors: Original New York Style cheesecake, chocolate mousse cheesecake, raspberry swirl cheesecake, and even low fat and sugar-free options! Although this list may seem exhaustive, it still fails to mention some of the more interesting such as peanut butter impulse cheesecake, cheesecake brownies, and cheesecake bites.

There is a cheesecake for every cheesecake lover at Cheesecake Factory, even vegan cheesecakes which are made with tofu and soy-based cream cheese substitutes. But what good is cheesecake without wine? Fortunately, the Cheesecake Factory has put together an impressive wine list with wines from around the world and pairing suggestions to go along with each cheesecake (although we can’t help but wonder: do you really need a pairing suggestion?)

Cheesecake Factory also offers other entrees such as chicken pot pie soup, fresh salads, vegetarian pasta entrées, and various sandwiches including grilled cheese and Caprese paninis. All of these options can be enjoyed alongside one of their delicious cheesecakes.

We are comparing:

  1. The Cheesecake Factory – Redondo Beach
  2. The Cheesecake Factory – Glendale

The cheesecake from the Redondo Beach Cheesecake Factory is a little bit sweeter and denser than the cheesecake at the Glendale location. Both cheesecakes are worth trying but if cheesecake is what you are really craving, then cheesecake factory Redondo Beach will be the cheesier choice.

The cheesecake at Glendale has more depth of flavor and tastes like it was actually made fresh at the Glendale location (that is to say the cheesecake isn’t sickeningly sweet). Both cheesecakes are thick and creamy with graham cracker crusts but if cheesiness is what you are looking for then this cheesecake will satisfy that craving.

Whether you are being dragged to The Cheesecake Factory or voluntarily going out for cheesecakes, both locations have delicious cheesecakes which provide sufficient reason to visit either location. Fortunately, customers don’t have to choose between one or the other because customer’s

For delicious cheesecakes in Los Angeles, The Cheesecake Factory in Redondo Beach is the winner. But if you have a taste bud that favors savory over sweet give the Glendale location a shot. Either cheesecake factory is a cheesier option than the rest.

The Cheesecake Factory verse Mimi’s Cafe

The Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes are different when compare to the cheesecakes at Mimi’s Cafe. Mimi’s cheesecakes seem creamer than The Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes, so if the cream taste is what you are looking for then Mimi’s cheesecakes slightly win.

The texture of cheesecake at Mimi’s Cafe was very different than the cheesecake at the Cheesecake factory; not quite as dense and flavorful. Although both cheesecakes are worth trying, if creaminess is what you are after then the cheesecakes at Mimi’s Cafe will satisfy that craving but if freshness and more selection are your taste then the Cheesecake Factory hands down are your best option.

For delicious cheesecakes in Los Angeles, Cheesecake Factory wins. But for those who prefer creaminess flavors over savory flavor then head over to Mimi’s Cafe cheesecakes.

Since both restaurants serve delicious cheesecakes and have excellent menus with wine pairings for every cheesecake option available, you must make your final verdict by comparing their other food options. Fortunately, the cheesecake factory has a wide variety of cheesecakes and entrees to choose from while Cheesecake Factory has cheesecakes and a few other entrees. In this case, cheesecake wins out over cheesecakes because it offers more cheesecake options along with a wider variety of food items.

In the interest of giving equal attention to both places, we recommend going to both for cheesecake and tasting them side-by-side!

In-Conclusion

Cheesecake Factory will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first cheesecake shop I ever went to when I moved to LA. Their food options are impressive including sandwiches, salads, and soups but their cheesecakes lack originality. While The Cheesecake Factory does not have a storied history behind its namesake cheesecakes, they offer many unique flavors that are worth trying out alongside their other entrees. The cheesecake here is a cheesier cheesecake and the restaurant itself has a cheesier atmosphere, so if that’s what you’re looking for then this may be your best Cheesecake Factory in Los Angeles.

The cheesecake factory offers great-tasting cheesecakes but lacks creativity when it comes to making them, however, they have an impressive romantic atmosphere that you and your cheesecake can enjoy alone. On the other hand, The Cheesecake Factory is known more for its creative dinner options than cheesecakes and they serve cheesier cheesecakes with unique flavors but their atmosphere isn’t as romantic as the first restaurant’s. Both restaurants have impressive menus and wine lists to accompany their entrees which may help your decision between these two enticing choices.  However, The Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes are slightly better than the cheesecakes at Mimi’s Cafe.

The cheesecakes at both of these restaurants are outstanding desserts that can’t be found in any other restaurant in Los Angeles. But when it comes to cheesecake perfection, The Cheesecake Factory is the winner with its superior cheesecake flavors and textures compared to Mimi’s. Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as cheesecake perfection so neither restaurant can share a perfect score.

If cheesecake is what you’re craving, take a trip to the cheesiest restaurant in LA at Cheesecake Factory. Thank you for reading my insights about cheesecakes. In the comments below share, what you like or dislike about each Cheesecake Factory restaurant?
